# Connect to Monad

## 🧭 How to Connect MetaMask to Monad (Step-by-Step Guide)

### 1. What you need first

Before starting, make sure you have:

* Installed MetaMask (Chrome/Brave/Edge extension)
* A wallet already created or imported
* Access to the Monad network RPC details&#x20;

### 2. Open MetaMask

1. Click the MetaMask extension in your browser
2. Unlock your wallet with your password
3. Make sure you are on the main interface

### 3. Add Monad Network manually

Click:

Network dropdown → Add network → Add a network manually

### 4. Enter Monad network details

⚠️ These values may change depending on the latest Monad testnet. Always check official Monad documentation if available.

Example configuration:

* **Network Name:** Monad Testnet
* **RPC URL:**

  ```
  https://testnet-rpc.monad.xyz
  ```
* **Chain ID:**

  ```
  10143 (example — confirm latest value)
  ```
* **Currency Symbol:** MON
* **Block Explorer URL:**

  ```
  https://testnet.monadexplorer.com
  ```

Click **Save**

### 5. Switch to Monad network

After saving:

* Open network selector in MetaMask
* Choose Monad network
